Double fees for Students?

Does anyone else think this is a bit far? I’m already going to be in nearly £30,000 worth of debt when I graduate (on a 4-year course). The report is apparently expected to say that people from low-income backgrounds have not been put off applying to university. Well, if a 4-year course resulted in £60,000 worth of debt, maybe they would... I’d certainly have thought twice.
