Swine flu alert no.2657, situation critical.
2 teachers and some students at my old school and sixth form are off with suspected swine flu.
Everyone below 14 is running around panicking, despite the fact that the death rate is below 0.5%, not taking into account people who haven't reported it.
According to news reports, in some cases people don't even notice they have it, and in others it feels like a minor cold.
I think it's probably best to get it now while there's still Tamiflu about and before people start rioting for the vaccine...
There are 60 million vaccines on order, and you need 2 jabs for it to be effective. And there are ~61 million people in the UK.
Let's hope the death rate stays low then.

I'm looking forward to the bonus reanimation stage of the disease where you get to come back as a pig zombie and terrorise your family and friends.
